How's that frag area going!?
It's holding a lot. Had to turn the light to 100% because it was soo high. But working fine for now.

How's that frag area going!?
Excited to hear the news (hope it comes with plenty of picrures!) as it seems everything you build is top notch
All that OCD paid off!
looks good, just curious if you had considered going with a larger wavelike DC pump vs water blaster?
is there any difference in noise? I know the water blasters are known to be silent
Awesome Kevan, now make a trip over to Knoxville to help me replumb my tank!
Good work. Keep us posted on how the new pump works out please.
how's about a SAD update...
a few weeks back my skimmer pump went out and ATi sent me this!?!?!??!
I'm not joking they sent me a Chinese knock off or a Chinese pump!
was soo irate i made this
That sucks man, I would be upset as well.
I would throw out that they did offer to take care of you outside of warranty, albeit, closer to your purchase than the non-existent many years of running on your tank. I am in a similar situation with a DC-Waveline that has crapped out on me after less than a year of use, but outside the warranty. A return pump should not have to be swapped every year, like you mentioned, nobody has time for that, no matter what the pump is for. Funnily enough, local hobbyists have always lent me the Jebeaos till I can remedy the situation, and I've never had a problem with them. I hope the dying off in your tank is not related to the pump, and I'm glad that although you're angry, you seem to be assessing all sides of your predicament on a fairly even playing field.
Man I hate see this Kevan.....I'm feeling your pain bro.
Kevan, very sorry to hear and watch your video. I've been following your build since the beginning as I began building my tank. I can say that I too have been disappointed with ATIus customer service. I purchased a powermodule led system with some issues right out of the box. Contacted customer service, and still living with the issues after 8 months of going back and forth with emails and now almost two years since the build started. Their options to fix the issues were not acceptable to me, and I'm having to deal with a fantastic light ($$$$) that is not 100%. I had the same mindset as you, spend the money on what is considered top of the line to help elevate head aches in the future. Unfortunately my tank is not as full as yours, and I do hope that what issues you are starting to see are not from the new pump. Hoping that you have a quick recovery with minimal damage, and sorry to hear that some one else has been put in this position after spending some hard earned $$. All the best, and following along..
BS! I'd be ****** too. It really sucks you don't even have the option to purchase the "older" AC pump. And BS that in correspondence ATI didn't inform you of the pump change, that the pump is marked WAY up in price, that you lose features with using Jebao over older pump. Check this thread by ATI advertising the Powercone: https://www.reef2reef.com/index.php?threads/200520/
This is recent, just a month ago and shows the new Powercones sold with the same Jebao pump they sent you. Is the price of the skimmer the same as when you purchased it (they quoted me a price later in the thread after I requested a price). According to this ad it does appear though that they say that the restart button on skimmer still works. Idk man.....thats some bs, I feel for ya
