i strapped the spa-flex to some pvc and left it in the sun for a while so it can straighten out

This is really inspiring. Though I did for go the ghost on my build. Really looking forward to seeing your sump set up. How are you liking the 30" depth (f2b)?

the 30 f2b is the main dimension i wanted for this tank and wasn't willing to compromise on it..
 
What size returns are you using and how much flow are you planning on putting through them, Kevan? I'm trying to determine what size return plumbing to use.

not much gonna be about 900GPH.. 1" piping to 3/4" bulkhead and loc-line.
 
Gotcha. I'm planning on pushing maybe closer to 1800 GPH, but we'll see. Not 100% decided yet. :)
