So whats the nicest part of having a rimless? Seeing the naked glass on top. But unfortunately because of some of our stocking choices we have to put screens on our tanks..
And for rimless tanks this is a very sad thing... so with this build i wanted to do something else..
I had many different versions but finally came up with this... the TST's (ToXIc's Screen Tabs :nerd: )

what it does, it allows the screen to placed inside the tank 1/4" below the top. It glues to the plastic corner of the screen instead of gluing metal to plastic.

And thus retaining the rimless look!!

yes.. and get the "screen cross brace" parts to keep the screen from rolling/twisting just like in big windows..

i do actually...

i still need some equipment but I can wait to upgrade them. but need at least a 6105 and the magnet upgrades for them (oh joy the -ve to 3/4" glass)
the carpet in the room will be ripped out and replaced with tile the weekend of the 12th. and the 120g will be broken down on the 18th tile the remaining area and the 185g will go in its place on the morning of the 20th.

I sense a weekend full of salty-ness. Breaking down one tank, moving it, installing it elsewhere, moving your big boy tank, filling it...etc... Oh yeah, and our club meeting!
