Sorry, n00b pic before. All whites on for this one. Not sure on texture don’t want to bother the coral as it gets very ticked when I disturb haha but it doesn’t move at all. it almost looks like a little clam to me that’s embedded in skeleton. I’m completely new to this so unsure if it’s a sponge.

Could be a clam or other bivalve. Does it open and close? Anything come out of it?
