Maybe my Apex is out of date but noticed a new OS today and a few firmware updates also. Wonder if anything is coming down the pipe...

My real question is whether the Trident unit will support future updates for different reagents. Because I see the real winning combo as Alk, nitrate, phosphate. Testing calcium and magnesium is cool, but not particularly needed. (In my opinion; I know you probably disagree).

Or, will one need to buy an entirely different unit to test other things?

This would really effect whether I purchase a Trident

The Trident is designed to test Alk,Ca,Mg. We do not discuss unannounced products.

Finally, this is the Trident packaging box. Do not throw this away, this packaging will be used at a later time to safely send the Trident in for it's routine service.

The trident initial setup task has a list of youtube videos it runs while the physical set up steps are walked through, it's in the first video that shows the unboxing.
