Have you read the Trident Controlled Dosing guide at Neptune's website?

It will not work with the setting you have there due to its current value compared to what you have it set at. Get your parameters to where you want them then use controlled dosing. Controlled dosing should also only be used when you already know what amount you should be dosing,

what is your DKH drop per day and current dose to keep it there after 24 hours?

If you set it to 10 dkH and you are currently a 7 dkH then you are outside the control parameter.

Any reason you are trying to put your alk that high? What salt are you using?

Like anything trident is an aid, it does a great job of pegging alk but you need an understanding of the chemistry of your tank and what you’re trying to accomplish.
