My new bucket has a lower Alk 7.1 - 7.3 dkh @ 1.026 . Usually it’s 7.6-7.9 range . I stirred the mix for a few minutes and retested a new batch and got 7.6 ...still on the lower end. Hannah checker.

Calcium was also in the low at 380 ppm Hannah checker again so I can’t say the accuracy .
Do you think you might have diluted it a bit low or ie your SG is inaccurate? since the Ca is low as well? (of course the Ca could be measured inaccurate as well)

Thought that as well so I recalibrated the Hannah digital salinity checker and my trusty old refractometer and the salinity is correct at 1.026 . My DT is also at 1.026

Tested my DT and got different numbers

Calcium 427
Alk 9.6
Mag 1440

I do want to add I have been using this bucket for at least 4-5 water changes without any issues.

I just dose Alk to match my levels.

However the last WC I had to add 11ml to 4 gallons of fresh mix. You can imagine the ph swing ... I never seem to mind the ph upswing ....it’s the downswing I’m worried about

well, Mixed the bucket of salt for about 30 minutes or pretty much the last period of the Penguins game then followed the TM Pro directions written on the side of the bucket:

Using RO/DI water, bring the water to the temperature (77) you will be using in your tank. With a power head or some other kind of pump circulating the water, slowly add almost all of the salt mix (approximately 1/2 cup per gallon or 150 grams per gallon or 5.29 ounces by weight per gallon) to the full volume of water.

SG - 1.026
DKH - 6.1

At a loss now, guess I'm going to have to deal with the low alkalinity.
