How does one do this?
I'm a pi noob
Also can you change time from military if so how?
thanks

Hey tankaholic...

Not sure if you're familiar with it but below is a link to the main reef pi thread. Asking questions there will, more than likely, get you quick replies and answers. Also, it's recommended that if you're doing a reef pi build you start your own build thread. You'll also get a spiffy build thread contributor badge on your profile.
Just a couple things to consider.

Sorry for the delayed response was driving home. Open a terminal.

/opt/vc/bin/vcgencmd measure_temp

Type that in

Not sure how to change from military time. Although the reef pi is all done in military time so there is that.

That family history is a pretty cool added bonus!

I do not know about Amtrak benefits these days but I do know they used to have stellar employee benefit. Hope it still is the case.

Sounds like you might have to move when you say, "Up there." Is this the case?

Yes they still have amazing benefits. My great grandfather actually got murdered in his office back in the 80’s long story. It’s not that far away no move required. I say up there because it is a higher position in life. If that makes sense.

Hey guys so I ordered some header but they sent me something I don’t have experience with. Check it out. @Bigtrout you know exactly how these are supposed to work?

It'd actually 0201 which is the wrong size for this project. Not sure how the correct ones got replaced in my cart with these. Anyway I have some 0805's on hand that I dont see why I couldnt use the larger components for c10 and c11. They are supposed to be 0603. Anyone else see a problem in using a 0805 vs a 0603 in a ceramic capacitor? @Roberto_b

0805... metric. Don’t worry it happens to all of us :)

0603 ... metric is even more ridiculous (that’s 01005 imperial)
