Twisted Skimmer Problem

Twisted Skimmer was working great. Had to turn it off for a few minutes and when I turned it back on the water comes out the air intake. This happens with the pump on full and on minimum and everywhere in between.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Possible something got sucked into the impeller during the off/on process. I would suggest breaking down the skimmer for a good cleaning and try again. :)
