Hello,
about three weeks ago I noticed one or two things on the back of my glass that I could not quite identify, but was not even sure if they were a life form at that time. Three weeks later, my tank is completely covered in these small anemone's. I believe I know were I got it. A local store that I buy from seems to have these things as well in one of there tanks, and I happened to get a frag from that tank shortly before I noticed them. I do dip everything I get for 20 minutes in CoralRX. I have since taken small rocks out of my tank with these anemone on them and dipped them and some fall off but not all. Joes Juice does seem to kill them, but that this point for me, there are too many to try to treat individually. Especially if all of this came from one, maybe two on a frag. They resemble a Curlycue, but as far as I know, Curly's don't go nuts like this.
Any help on an ID and possible treatment is greatly appreciated.
