Hi all,
Got a coral here that I got of a friend who couldn't tell me what it is, it's spreading well (was the size of my small finger nail) and now just curious to what it can be?

Hard to tell. What comes to mind is toadstool, hairy mushroom, galaxea? Need a better pic and maybe some more info.

The tentacles remind me more of a hammer, but this is completely flat too the rock if that helps and the tentacles are thin and are spreading attached to the rock rather than from a skeleton, I honestly can't remember what it was originally attached to but think it was a little rock.

Just place another coral next to it, something expensive, if it stings the hell out of it then you got yourself a Galaxea!!!:D

I agree galaxea. I was going to buy one the other day at WWC but I was afraid my Angel will attach it. They are cool looking though.
