About 8+ months ago I picked this coral up from my LFS, and they had it listed as an open brain coral. I have been trying to find out what exactly it is but have not gotten a definitive answer on it. It is fairly large in size, will readily and happily take food when target fed, but does not have any sweepers at all.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a trachyphyllia that hasn't grown any folds yet, nice coral I used to have one of the same color and loved it.

Thank you both. I had a feeling it could have been that one, but wasn't 100% on it. I wonder if it will pick up some of the color stripes like others I am seeing.

And what kind of lighting do these guys like. It's getting roughly 90 par with medium flow where its at now. It does seem happy there so I am not specifically inclined to move it.
