*Unofficial* Mini Complete Tank Contest

I saw some with the heater and temp probe on aliexpress, it's the most expensive option, coming in at $52 ish. But still forever on shipping.

Side note, I'm in too! Nailing down which one I'm ordering from today. So cute. I did want a sumped aquarium for my birthday..... I almost bought a (used) reefer 350, but got scared away from the complexity of it all. This seems like a good compromise, lol.
yeah, waiting a month for something to arrive feels very 1994. It's my MCT, and I want it now!

FYI inkbird is on sale

Don't worry, I'm also grabbing one off of Ali, so we'll push back the start date a bit to accommodate a larger group(: I don't mind waiting a couple months to make sure everyone can participate.

A couple clarifications: no plumbing your MCT to a larger/established system. I'm thinking a *small* add-on is okay if you're trying to make a fuge or more involved DIY sump. However, it must be mini, so I'm thinking .5 gallons or less for any sump/fuge add-ons to keep the competition based around the tiny tanks.

That's reasonable! I was picturing a MCT plumbed into a 10 gallon sump hahaha

NR member here.
I'd be down to participate if this is happening. Definitely need some time to order/get everything ready though ha.
It's happening! We've pushed back the start time a bit to give everyone a chance to get their supplies and participate. (:

How about everyone tries to get tank orders in by the end of this week so we can get this going asap? Does that sound reasonable to everyone?

I'm already planning. So excited. My daughter says her doll got a new aquarium, lol. I showed her pictures next to the pop can and now she's exited too.

Me too! Trying to scheme out a unique scape haha
Heck yeah, I'm stoked everyone is getting into it.
