As for macro in the DP and grazers, what are some algaes that are unpalatable for fish like foxes?
I've seen a few that are listed as algaes that are calcified, but seem to be either hard to find or hard to keep. Also one that isnt very invasive.

Any suggestions?

Halimedas like H. Opuntia should be decently easy if your tank has calcium. I think based on feel that G. Hayi and G. Mammillaris are both lightly calcified, but I don't know how a foxface would treat them. I forget the scientific name but I think "red branch" would probably do well.

Ill look into those, along with the ones that look like grapes.

Do either of those work with gravel substrate?

How would some of these macros do in a tank that hovers 80-82. My heaters are set to turn off at 78 but its pretty warm ambient temp.

Most macro used in saltwater aquariums (and pretty much all the macro we sell), do just fine at 80-82F. They just tend to grow faster :-D

They should do just fine. If placing at the bottom of your tank " they need some flow and light " to do well.
