Hey Rob. Finally getting a spare second to come and cruise by and catchup on the thread...and boy have I missed a lot. The last time I checked you were just adding rock and water :nerd:.

You tank is REALLY coming along and all of the new additions look great. Is you plan to mainly stick with LPS, Z's and P's or are you eventually going to dive into SPS as well?

It looks like some of your algae issues are starting to subside compared to the pictures of the rock from a couple pages ago. Have you just been upping the Mg or has it slowly subsided on it's own. If I remember right, you started with all dry rock from Marco so I would have assumed you wouldn't have had to worry about Bryopsis and other nuisance algae.

The pictures are a lot better with the new camera...just looks like you may need to tweak the white balance and you'll be right in there with some nice pics.

I look forward to seeing how all of the new additions fill in. Oh yeah, and just because we're not posting, doesn't mean we're not following :matrix:...at least for me.

Just a quick second cause now I am at work.
But moments before leaving home...............I figured out my white balance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should be some sweet pics in the near future!!

Crap here comes the boss............later!

Thanks to the awesome people at Great Lakes Aquarium for the sweet deal on the two clams on the left!!!!! You rock Brad!
Practicing a little white balance and a few other setting with my new camera.

love the ric collection. getting more into those and chalices. losing interest in sps
Thanks Gaita, rics are my all time fav. Can't wait for a few to settle in and color up. For sure will post some pics then!

No, I don't mount my clams. Clams usually mount them selves if on rocks. Usually just put them in the sand with a rock about the size of the shell about and inch deep.
Frags.......once it becomes time to frag, sure!

Very cool setup for sure.
Thanks for noticing Zoaboy. Check back in later, just picked up some nice Aussi zoo's, a few acans and a duncan colony!!

Update 10/12

Good news all byropsis is gone! And has been for about a week and a half now.
I didn't do much of anything just a few water changes with fresh RO/DI water from my new trust Melev's Reef Unit! Plus a little manual chop chop.

Added my new "Double Top Secret" aquascaping piece!!!!

Up to three clams now, still looking for probably 3 more!
Added a 5 head electric green frogspawn, couldn't find a tri-color anywhere.
Still looking for electric orange hammer!!
Added a dendro
Duncan
ORA Chips
ORA Birds
ORA Joe
ORA Roscoe
Green Slimer
Few other unknown SPS(not an SPS head yet, I just buy what looks purty!!)
Monti Sunset
Purple Tube Anemone
3 different Aussie Acans
2 Aussie zoo's

Also expecting a little love from Chelsey this week!!!!
Couldn't resist and got another grab bag coming from Coral Morphologic this week as well!

Still need to get my SL2 on line and update RKL and all modules.
My current ATO system is getting a little tweak this week as well. I found that its range is too large and it toping off too much fresh. Difficulty keeping salintiy up.
Doni's clown are getting nice and fat too. Finally swimming around and exploring the whole tank, rather than just chilling in the corner.
Also experience huge growth explosion in past few weeks with zoa and paly's. All colonies have averaged 4 polyps growth!!!!!

You'll have to wait and see!! It's not yet ready to be revealed. But hopefully you guys think its as cool of an idea as I do!

Nice build. Nice selection of fish and coral also. Looks like you have the Bryopsis under control. I used the elevated Mag and manual removal to beat it also. Keep up the nice work. Will definitely be following along. I can't wait to start a build for my upgrade, it'll be a couple months though.
