Looking for diagnosis on livestock I have had that just plan quit eating and died.

First I noticed was my Midas Blenny. Was eating and doing great. Then just stop eating and hiding then died.

Then notice 1 of my Peppermint Shrimp went missing and the other one I have is still happy.

Now I have a purple fire fish doing he same as the Blenny. But I think I lost him today. I haven’t seen him. Wanted to get him out before but was under a rock.

All corals and livestock are happy and eating.
Parameters are good and 20gallon water changes every 2weeks in a Reefer 250 (69 Gallon)

Thank you.

Welcome to R2R! Any recent additions of fish, inverts, corals?

Midas Blenny was one of the first fish in tank. Tank has been running since March. Fire fish was 2nd or third addition. Peppermint Shrimp was 1st. No bullying of any sort as far As I have seen.

Odds are that whatever affected the peppermint shrimp is something different than the fish. Fish diseases normally can't hurt an invertebrate.

Any chance your fish had white stringy poo?

Did you qt the fish? And have you seen any other signs heavy breathing flashing scratching?

No heavy breathing. Very slow in both fish. Midas Blenny his in rocks and fire fish at bottom just kinda floating and breathing very slow.

No QT. LFS is excellent at what they do and you can expect quality everything there. They med their tanks as well. These fish were months old and living well. I buy all water(for changes) from LFS and livestock. That way my tank and there tanks are as close as possible. Not sure if that’s right but that’s what I do.
