My tank dimensions are 84in x 24in x 24in (water level is around 23 for height). Reef is mixed.

I have the budget to do what I want. Was thinking 4x mp40 and a reefwave 25/45. Thoughts or things you’d do differently? More or different pumps?

I’m running 2 x Nero5 and 2 x Icecap Gyre 4k on my 180 gallon tank and it’s MORE than enough for my mixed reef. My Gyres usually run 40-60% and Nero’s run 30-70%.

I’d definitely do with 2x MP60s over 4x MP40. MP40s struggle to move water past 3’ IME.

I run 2x MP60 and 4x MP40s on my 180. The MP60s are the main workhorses

Okay so I am looking at 2 mp60’s and for the mean time I’ll continue using my 3 Neptune wav’s in conjunction with them? Might as well if I have it?

otherwise for the future, would 2 mp60 alone be enough (I’m assuming the wav’s will die at some point, and I don’t intend to replace it with a wav)? Should I buy the reef wave as well?
