I have a Fluval Marine 3.0 on my tank right now. However, it's not going to cut it if I want to do some SPS. I am trying to figure out what to upgrade to. I also have some red macroalgae growing in the tank. The tank is an 8 gallon bowfront, so very small.

I am currently looking at three options:

Orphek OR3 Reef Day Bar.
It's got nice colors to it, and its within my budget. I'm unsure how much PAR a single bar will have though.

AI Blade
Nice price. Nice shape. Unsure if the PAR numbers will hit the numbers I need, and I am worried it may be to blue. I really like the white natural looking light.

AI Prime
A little outside my budget, and it's not a bar but a spotlight. My friends all recommended it, and it seems to have the PAR to grow SPS, so I am considering it.

What do you think? Which light would work best for my needs?

AI Blade Grow (not Glow) would be a great choice. If you max out the whites, it definitely isn’t too blue. On your size tank I bet it could easily output enough for SPS.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
