Well everyone, the time has finally come. I've been running my old 35 gallon tall reef tank for just over a year and a half now, and I figured it's time to size up. Moving up to a 40 breeder. Should be a welcome size increase and allow for more rocks and more corals. Below are pics of the tank this morning and while the switch was taking place. I will add more pics when I get the final product all set up. Wish me luck everyone!

Also lol side note 40 breeders are bigger than I thought

40 breeders are deeper than a lot of basic tanks, which is nice. I hope to do a similar move soon myself. What will you be using for filtration?

Previously I was running a HOB filter, and for a little while I'll use that to allow me some time to research sumps. I plan on moving to a sump sooner than later.

Figuring out the why: Has your primary reason(s) for keeping a saltwater aquarium changed over time?
