Do you not make your own water? I haven't done the exact math, but my estimation was that it was far cheaper than that for e to make my own. I can't imagine having to buy that much from the store. AND hauling it around. I was doing 4 - 5 gallon jugs before I got my RODI machine and THAT was getting obnoxious after a few months.

Yeah excellent point, I don’t have any way to mix my water or have an rodi. So I buy all my rodi from lfs and they sell pro salt mix already made and tested for 1:75 a gallon. Yes it’s very obnoxiously because it’s 14 (5) gallon jugs at 45 pounds and (as I weigh myself lol) I’m 83 pounds right now fully dressed lol. So it’s a work out and very expensive.

Okay so as promised pic update of the tank. Yes I have not cleaned it and or ripped down K2 and the entire Himalaya mountain range yet. But my 240 is improving slowly I still have work to go and this is at 20 months old.
Which includes a 90 day cycle period. So it’s not doing terrible lol yet. These are taken with my crappy iPhone camera and with normal lights were brights are 30% and blues at 80% and center light only has blues on. The extra brights are way too much for my corals.

You havnt seen my Jeep lol it’s a 4 door rubicon wrangler, so I can move the seats all the way down. Point of fact I had to make a long road trip and slept in the back of my Jeep and had plenty of space. I’m 5’4” and two people could easily sleep back there when I lay the seats forward. I have a pic of all of them on here some where lol. Oh not to mention the clown at the lfs forgot to put the lids on when he loaded them. I went over a bump and they all tipped over and I basically flooded my Jeep lol. Luckily it’s a Jeep and sorta made to get wet and dirty. The shop owner paid to have everything cleaned for me.

It was way better and had better color but my parameters went out of whack and he was mad st me for a Few months. I was sooo close to removing it because I thought it had died. Then suddenly Polpys every where and starting to color up nicely again along with the frog skin, and myagi and Carl’s coral and
One that I have no clue on. But it has super bright purple and green and it was brown now it’s gorgeous

Omg yes the day I flooded my Jeep (looked like that only no lids lol). But I had 14 in that time and only 12 in this pic. But yeah it’s not fun moving all of those at once. How have you been @Fin ? I hope your mom and wife are improving. @Hemmdog see lol you need a Jeep :) lol.

Yes the pond is Finished. Well its up and running and have like 12 gold fish and some plants started. The Aquariums are good. as well. But have not been doing much to them other then maintenance .

As far as the site do not get me wrong i am not complaining , Its a Private site and they have the right to do as they wish. every forum thread has a add every 4 post. There is a column to the left at the right of the forums with ads . The giant banner at the top, Bottom and between each section . I know they Want to make money. But even thou they are not so user friendly I find myself going back to other Aquarium Forums because I paid for a membership on here to NOT See the ads (well its what i thought i was getting) Quite a disappointment Not to mention the WHOLE Push notification thing. Anyway . I know this is not the place to comment about this nor do i have a right to.

Back to the pond .. We have about 20 or so Lily pads . a few other plants i forget the name of , Around the pond we have planted some flowering shrubs and Plants as well. I think for now we are just going to let it be to mature more the rest of the summer and when we open it back in the spring work on getting it more Naturally balanced. As of now i am having to use API Algae control . But the more the plants we will slowly phase that out. We also ended up with a whopping 14 Tons of Creek Rock.. The pond dimensions are 24 feet long by 14 feet at its widest point the deep end which is the largest area just shy of 5 feet deep. There are two upper plant ledges each about 14 inches under the water going 3/4 way around the pond. One area of the ledge is about 18 inch wide narrowing next to the water fall/ creek thing. The other side ranges from to 14 inches wide. The water feature is a small stream that is raised about 3 feet and curves as it drops down into the pond . Its stair stepped to create more oxygenation as well as a few places for the birds , Squirrels and other animals to enjoy the Pond .We have lots of Frogs who have decided to take up residence as well.

The Aquarium is growing out nicely being left alone . All the fish are happy fat and growing . Thou it appears i have a small cyano outbreak . But that comes and goes. I think its because we have been keeping the Picture window open more as of lately . Even thou the tank is 16 feet from the window it faces it directly. and this time of the year the sun shines right into the window .

I have been so Busy at work its also unbelievable.I have more then 4 times completed and paid project hours/contracts then i did all of last year. I have added a few Full time Employees and now keeping a few Sub contractor crews busy . Electrical, Plumbing and Drywall / Painting people. We are also booked thru the end of the year with signed contracts. I am VERY Close to not doing any work myself which is my GOAL... Just run the projects . Our Quality and Reliable Reputation is Growing Faster then my Ability to Get the Work Done...

No it has been shipped and fedex twice but I was at work. Lol I wasn’t even notified that it was out for delievry. But will have it staged in my garage till I figure out what im doing. However fedex says I need to hire a fork lift since (how my garage is set up with other houses it’s like 4 feet long literally. So they tried to deliver it but didn’t have enough room to maneuver the fork lift. They suggested I rent one (or theirs doesn’t fit why would a rental fit (am I missing the obvious here). So working on finding a truck which they said they would load it there but I’m on my own at my house. This tank if I remember correctly from box weight weighs almost 1200 pounds. I thought it would be much lighter but came by fedex ground freight section. I don’t know enoungh people to help lift it errr twice. But can leave it for 90 days and I’m trying to work with them.

Fork lifts come in many sizes and styles. I'm guess that the standard ones they use might not work but that if you rent the right style it will.

omg yes sorry drive way (when I’m home I’ll take a pic, but our drive ways are only four feet long but we have normal size garages. So it’s a drive way then like small paved alley way then drive way. Then all of the houses front doors face each other and it’s full of trees landscaping etc. but yeah @Brew12 lol sorry forgot to mention I drive a Barbie power wheels Jeep not a real Jeep. I have plenty of space to park my Barbie And Ken Jeep in my 4 foot garage :) (I have so missed you).

@Sarah24! I would suggest maybe looking into a professional moving company. Perhaps get them to pick it up at FedEx and make sure they have the manpower to handle the job. The idea of a forklift and an expensive glass box just makes me queasy.
