Looking to setup a backup power supply for tank. Plan to backup the MP10, return pump and heater.

Goal Zero has a 300 series with 297 amp hours.

If I plug those 3 into the Goal Zero and then keep that plugged into the wall continuously, is there any reason that will not work for a temporary outage?

Thanks for the advice, first saltwater tank.....

Bump for response and can make addition: Contacted Goal Zero and they said the Lithium Phosphate battery will not degrade if left plugged in continuously, but that it should be discharged down to 5% every 6 months.

Anyone tried this with LiPo battery station? Thanks! Steve

I have an ecoflow portable power I was considering using. I currently just use the ecotech battery back up but I see no reason why a goal zero would not work either.

Just saw this. Wanted to make a correction. That power station is 296 watt hours. Not amp hours. Big difference.

Also it is weak for a power station and double the price it should be. I see the 300 on Amazon for 299 and a power station of this capacity (300 wh) can be bought for 150 or less.

The heater would not be realistic to connect. I would choose between return pump and mp10 on that model also, it’s not a lot of battery.

How many hours do you want to be prepared for? 3? 6? 24?

Big differences. Especially with the gear you want to run. I can help if you want. Would need wattage of the gear your running and number of hours you’d want to be able be powered off battery
