Looking to add a UV sterilizer to the redsea xl 425 set up. Finding info is a little challenging.

Considering either the AquaUV 25, 40, or 57watt. Logistically dimension wise I would think the 25 or 57 watt would fit better.

Does anyone have pics of their set up in a xl425? Or which UV sterilizer to go with?

Any advised would be greatly appreciated.

I would say get the larger 57watt. Most people seem to under do it on the uv.

Sorry I’m pretty late to the game and this is my first post here. I have the “Jebao 36w Koi Pond Uv Sterilizer” in my XL425. It mounts perfectly under and out of sight of my sump area when the doors are opened. I run it at a really slow flow rate, about 1gallon or less a minute. I’ve had it on since day 1 and have no complaints. Tank has remained nice and healthy.
