Hey all so recently I was finally able to install my uv sterilizer and I can’t figure out what sections to put it in sump. Pump draws water too fast from skimmer section and then I moved it to middle section which was good u til the output was in my return chamber. I heard you can do it this so I did but then my ato never went off and my salinity spiked considerably in a day. So now trying to fix my salinity issues asap. What’s best way to do this considering now I’m concerned that ato wont turn on when needed to be. Sump isn’t that big, can I switch pump and skimmer? And flow water downstream to skimmer section. Any ideas would help. I don’t need to have to running now since salinity spiked but need some ideas. Thanks all

I would see if you can run the uv as is, if you can? Remove some water from the system until the ato functions properly?

Otherwise, a picture of the sump might help us see what is happening and provide better solutions?

The other option would be to plumb the uv return to the tank
