Right so I've been using a seneye as a par meter for the last few years.

Recently received a few suggestions that it was pretty off. On the recommendation of @telegraham I purchased a VBR Aqua.

Now here is the variation as measured at spots around the tank:

Mid point left corner
S - 305, VBR - 100
Mid point middle right
S - 300 VBR - 111
top rock work middle right
S - 420 VBR - 165
Middle bottom
S- 300 VBR - 120
Front middle left
S - 310 VBR - 130
Middle tank mid way up
S - 310 VBR 130
Top middle
S - 460, VBR - 180
Bottom front left
S - 265 VBR - 100
left rear corner
S - 235 VBR - 90
front left corner
S - 77 VBR 45

I have no control so no idea which is correct but there is a ratio of around 3x higher for the seneye for higher light areas.

Not sure if the VBR is cosine corrected? I know the seneye is not.

Running three Noopsyche's with blue and uv channels at 43% and white, green and red at 25%. Have poplargrow light bars front and rear running at 100%. Mounted 12 inches above water line.

Look forward to it! Hopefully you find your seneye.

Found a thread that talked about a firmware update for the seneye that corrects the high values but you have to contact seneye to install
