So I have a Sicce ADV on my 90 gallon. Probably pushing 1500 gph at 5 feet of head pressure. Im using 1 inch flex pvc pipe with only 2 90° long sweeps and 1 90 elbow. When I put a 1 inch VCA Random flow Generator pvc connector the flow reduces. How I know this is becuase I have to reduce the opening in my gate vavle in my main drain. Is there a problem such as reduced pump life long term with back pressure while using vca adaptor?

If it is pump less water there is lower load on the pump.
