As the title indicates, I have a "thermistor error" on my Vectra L2, and the quiet drive is flashing red/orange. Does anyone know if this an error with the pump, or the quiet drive? And do I need to send it off for repairs.

Unless you want peoples opinions, your best bet is to contact ecotech directly.

How do you know it's "thermistor error"? There is no indications other than the lighting to indicate any issues.

I just wondered if anyone knew what it was, and is it something I can fix myself without replacing the pump with a spare and sending it off.
That's the first I've heard of it, of course I would guess it's an overheat issue, but it would be guessing to suspect a faulty sensor.

The only thing I could recommend is taking it apart and ensuring the anti-lime bypass is free of obstruction. I would imagine that could lead to an overheat issue, especially if you're using it as an external pump.

I have removed the pump and sent it off for repair.

It looks like these pumps have technical problems. The warranty period has just ended. There is no desire to find out the reasons. I'm upset. Disposable pump.

I am constantly getting 'stall errors" on my Vectra L2. I took it apart and cleaned it at the end of Dec 2021, and three weeks later I am still getting the same error. I would not recommend these pumps to anyone. More trouble than they are worth.

Same here.

using this for 1,5 years and had to remove it from the setup. Now 6 months later I want to add it to a ultraviolet sterilizer and got the same error
