Vectra S2 way too strong even when set to lowest setting

So i have a red sea reefer 350 and initially set the flow to 1% which ik is too low but this is irrelevant rn the flow being output was definitely 1% now altough it says 1% and on the controller i cant scroll the wheel lower the flow is like 50% how do i lower the wattage? or am i doing smth wrong? Help!

You could add a Random Flow Generator® Flow Kit to to it and take full advantage of all that flow

We have pre-configure flow kits for that tank

With the RFG, you could use all that flow - maybe even crank it up a bit, and not blow out your sandbed

@Roman'sReef did you calibrate your pump when you installed it for the min and max settings? That might be throwing off your ability to control the flow.

I know that with my M2 I can get to zero flow where the water is barely trickling out or the return nozzles.

exactly when i put the flow to 50% it is wayyy too strong tho. thats the issue

what's your drain set up like? A 250 should be able to handle the flow of an s2 above 1%.... or am i missing something?
no you are completely right it i have a 350 it should be able to handle flow up to like 25 percent except when i set to 1% it acts like i have set it to 50%

alright i dont know what you would consider emergency then but apparently since this post makes you so angry being labelled emergency its not an emergency then :expressionless-face::zipper-mouth-face:

Thank you so much for everyone who recommended calibrating my pump. I just thought that setting it to a low value was supposed to do the trick but guess not. Thank you to everyone that helped
