This is a placeholder for many more details. Please stay tuned!

I recently broke down my 93 gallon cube and moved everything into an established frag system in my office. For now, it's just the frag tank though I plan to add a display next to it and tie it to this system. more on that later.

parameters
35 ppt - 78F - 7.0 dKH - Ca 420ppm - Mag 1350ppm - K 400ppm - NO3 <0.25ppm - PO4 undetectable (hanna ULR P)

Nutrient control: Skimmer, refugium lit with mars hydro 300W, marine pure brick. No carbon dosing, no filter socks, no GFO. 25-50% recommended ROX GAC changed every few weeks.

As you can see my nutrients are rock bottom, which i don't love. I have been feeding the heck out of the tank to account for this. Things don't seem unhappy.

Tank is loaded with 99% SPS. A few LPS here and there. It's eating like 2.5-3 dKH per day :)

If you want to keep alk at the level it's at now I would leave the nutrients where they are at now. Bumping them up with low alk could end badly.

How do you like calcium reactor with the auto water changes?

Love it! Was having a hard time dialing the calcium reactor in for some reason, so I switched from the drop counting method to the steady stream with a higher reactor pH. Worked wonders.

Looks awesome! A tad bit jealous. What bulb combination are you using for the T5s?

Currently 5 blue+ 1 coral+ 1 pure actinic and 1 purple plus.

I'm going to switch the pure actinic for another coral plus.

Very sweet 93g cube that you had and I’m sorry you had to take it down but I’m positive you’re experience and success is going to carry right over to this tank.

Keep us posted so novices like me can learn a thing or two.

Unfortunately, my blue star leopard managed to jump out of the tank at some point yesterday. I don't know if it was when I was working in the tank and I didn't notice, or if it made it through one of the very small gaps between the screen top and tank wall. This was my favorite fish and I have a pit in my stomach.

I'll keep the main photo of the thread as her but it definitely makes me sad to see it :(

@Velcro
Do you have a Full tank shot?
also - what kind of tiles are safe to use for coral frags?\
I've wanted to put a few pieces on plates for growout, but I don't know which tiles are okay

I'll work on a FTS soon. You wasn't natural travertine tiles. They should not be filled... Ie they should still have holes on both sides.

Honestly I like the aragonite tiles from oceans wonders better. The 2 and 3 inch tiles on their site are awesome
