Don’t know if it can be seen in these pics but I know my clown either has Ich or Velvet but I don’t know which one or what to do to treat properly. This is my first tank and it just started developing. My fish were all eating great and swimming around but now the are hiding and not eating and one clown has gotten tiny white dots behind its gills. Any idea what I should do or which it is? Please Help Don’t want to see flame angel or others to die

I don’t see anything that looks like ich or velvet in the photos. Doesn’t mean it isn’t there, you are there in person.

I think I would check for flukes first, the tank looks pretty new so if it’s flukes you shouldn’t have much trouble treating in-tank with prazipro.

Looks like ich in front of the top fin or flukes in the white areas on the second photo. I'd remove them, do a freshwater dip for 5 minutes and see if anything comes off. Even if you don't see flukes, I'd probably treat just to be sure. You'll need to remove all the fish and leave your tank fallow for 76 days if ich is present. I think 4 weeks for flukes.

Your options to treat both are
  1. Hyposalinity
  2. TTM and Prazipro combined
Humblefish has excellent threads on here that go over each option.

If it is just flukes, then in-tank treatment with prazipro is definitely an option.

Does it look like anything to you? There’s a few small white things I believe are the Ich or flukes not sure but don’t see anything on him anymore for now. But there’s stuff on my angels eyes upon looking so I think it’s ich throughout tank

Is that a blue damsel hiding in the rock? Looks like some white spots on him and he's hiding, which seems to indicate he's sick to me. It's hard to say whether that's ich or velvet. I'd lean towards velvet since it seems tiny and numerous. So that would change your treatment option to copper with prazipro to follow for the flukes.

Good news is the spots I thought I saw on the clown by the fin were apparently on the glass (or they fell off). The bumps in the white areas are definitely there.

I'm one to just assume that every fish that comes from a LFS has at least one of these: ich, velvet, brook, flukes. It's almost inconceivable for them to not get these diseases somewhere along the route.

If this were me, I'd take everyone out of the tank and treat them. All the fish in the photos can be treated/quaratined in five gallon buckets with a cheap pre-set heater and HOB or internal filter. Just keep an eye on ammonia and be prepared to change water quickly.

So put all in a 5 gal bucket and treat with copper and prazipro and just leave the main tank empty? I have 2 yellowtail damsels, 1 Flame angel, 1 Scooter Blenny, 2 Clowns and a few hermits and 2 shrimp.

Nope, that's too much for a 5 gallon bucket. I didn't realize you had a flame angel. I'd pick up a 20 gallon long, filter, and heater if you can find it for quarantine. Some biro-spira or other bottled bacteria will help seed the aquarium and help prevent ammonia spikes, but be prepared to do massive water changes to keep it under control.

Move all the fish to the QT tank for treatment. The hermits and shrimp stay in the display tank. They will die in copper. Assume that all fish have been exposed and are sick even if they aren't displaying symptoms. I'd do a freshwater dip on their way into quarantine.

Here's the velvet post. You don't have Chloroquine Phosphate and probably can't get it, so your treatment option is copper. That would also treat ich, so you are covered either way:

Thanks I’ll try to get all that stuff tonight and put them in there for a while, how long should copper treatment be?

Unfortunately it's one month in copper before you can run carbon/cuprisorb and bring them out. They'll need to stay in the QT tank for another month though while the tank stays fallow for 76 days. There's more information on options in the link though.
