If you are going to block responses of us to try and help issues than You should be more careful in your acceptance of them. At the very least allow the education of the buyer regarding the rights they have with the credit card companies

A post regarding a vendor that charges cards and then does not ship products . We are not allowed to comment to allow them to come to an agreement . I do respect that however it has come to my attention, and I was ignorant of it as well. using a card affords you certain legal protections > I recently investigated and it exists in the US as well. Some protections are enforced Federally some are in the card client agreement . My post is to suggest that it be posted by the web owners to all to read or at least advise them ( members ) since they entertain vendors . To me it would be an expectation of theirs or vet the venders better if it is a factual occurrence , They the web owners should have some responsibility or just not allow it period

I fail to understand the confusion I have read multiple posts of people getting their money taken by venders and getting no products . The latest from Randy Holmes Farley. Luckily I will never have this experience since I live in Canada but something should be done because it punishes the honest people

Your original post is very cryptic and hard to follow. Many of the advertisers on this site do indeed ship to Canada.
My point is that scammers and bad customer service are everywhere, and no vendor can satisfy 100% of their customers. Issues happen—an overlooked email, more orders than they can handle at a given time, incorrect or mislabeled/missing inventory, lost parcels—the list goes on. Most do the best they can with the staff and resources available. Balancing overhead, expenses and customer service is a delicate balancing act. This hobby is expensive and trying to run a business in this industry is even more expensive.

I'm also in Canada and have to agree you're missing the mark by putting any blame on the forum. Put a claim in with your credit card company if you're getting the run around and personally, if i'm uncertain of the vendor I hope to do business with for the first time I have yet to find a downside to taking the time to read previous purchaser experiences which in 2026 are usually not difficult to find and move on if they're absent.

If your running a business than that is what you do not have excuses . I would never order from a vendor on this site because of all the negatives I read . That is the reason for my post . The honest and COMPETANT people are suffering because of a few . I don't know where you get your information from because your wrong again . You just throw your opinion s around . I sold on E bay and was selling items that were listed in the thousands ( brass trains ) I bought from US people and sold mainly to Canadians who were Leary of doing it themselves so not a big profit margin , and a lot of work. I maintained a 100 % rating . Just me no staff . If they cant do it then get out

I don't have a problem. I merely was saying I guess not clearly enough that it would be nice for the forum to educate members as to their rights as to Cards . There are lots of dealers around that I would rather support which I think we should all do if we want them to remain in business. The biggest problem I have encountered is that the people in the US use couriers . For us in Canada that translates into Brokerage people who **** you. I ordered an overflow box from a US company . They sent it Fed Ex it cost me about 229 US for the box and 176 Canadian for brokerage fees , No Thanks

OP then lumped it into any vendor with 1 negative review should be avoided and R2R should cancel their sponsorship if they have one.
It is then somehow R2R’s responsibility to watch out and protect every single user on here and R2R should even educate people on their “credit card rights”. Which is quite ridiculous but here we are

No its not about Randy . I have read quite a few negative vendor reviews . I did never state what you are accusing me of regarding cancelation and one bad review. If you disagree with what I did say about qualifying vendors than yes that's my opinion. How hard would it be to do such an article ? I don't have any vested interest in any of it as I don't buy from adds as I feel supporting actual dealers is important . Especially I like brick and Mortar not that I am opposed to online buying at all if done correctly . Most of the adds I see don't have photos or descriptions . Like I said elsewhere I ran an Ebay business for years dealing with expensive collectables . On some listings it was expected to have 5 photos at a minimum , along with a detailed condition explanation , and I shipped worldwide . I maintained 100% feedback no hassle returns of which I had none. I did not ever say to take anyone by the hand just make them aware of the risks they take
