Vermented snails question

Hey guys I got vermented snails in my tank ...how can I fight them....also I have some on the flesh of my hammer coral ..how can I remove them from the hammer coral??? Seems not to bother it here a few pics

Bumblebee snails worked for me

I usually pull them off and superglue where they were at. I’ve never had one on the flesh of anything though so can’t help out there.

I’m sure you’re doing your research, but fyi my bumblebees are also reducing my bristleworm population, which is fine- they leave my bigger ones alone lol I assume they’re eating the larvae or small worms… great to look at too!

Bumble bee snails were my go to, not a vermatid snail in over a year. The bumblebee snails are still in there so there must be an alternative food source in there.

I had a terrible population of them. Added a bunch of bumblebees snails and they significantly reduced it. You’ll never really get rid of them though.

Bumblebee snails worked for me as well. I noticed that they will go after all smaller snails in my tank, but not too bad in all.

I had a pretty bad infestation. I would smash a dozen or so with tweezers right before a water change. I also added bumble bee snails and a yellow wrasse. The wrasse didn't bother at first. When I started smashing them is when he started to become interested. From time to time he'd pick at them. I barely have an now.

Not feeding dispersive live foods (mysis/brine shrimps) - but feeding flake food ensures that both vermetid snails and aiptasia are in small numbers.

I’m trying to use calcium carbonate for Vermetids but unsure iodmdosge/concentration. This article says 2 tbsps per 1 liter of water (per day)? That seems like an insanely large amount of calcium carbonate?
