New to videos and considering getting a video cam.
saw a few sony cameras today and not sure which to go with, what are the key options to look for and any tips on which camera to go with?
is 4K a must of will full HD do? manual focus a must as well?
Thanks.

Are you looking for a camera to go inside or outside the tank?

Not much of a videographer, bought a decent cam a year ago (Canon) and love it. Easy to use and tons of features I'll never use lol one thing I can suggest is you shop at B&H Photo, AWESOME site and deals on electronics... (I buy all my electronics from them now)

Plus they have fantastic reviews on most of there products which can help narrow things down for you. I wouldn't think you would need 4K UHD as regular UHD is pretty darn sharp image wise and it's hard to tell the difference between them IMO.

Good deal....:p;)

Did you end up getting a camera? It's always fun to see what we all use. Maybe you've got a video or two to share with us post-holiday?

Thanks for the replies.
was a crazy end of year and still didn't make up my time on one, hopefully will be soon.

On second thought I might just use the video on my Nikon D750 and hopefully upgrade going forward. I researched it and it looks to have some limitation in focusing while taking a video which I’ll try to workaround.

Still didnt try it wanted to jump to a better camera after i heard about the focusing limitations that are still not very clear to me. I also thought that a 4K camera wouldnalso provide much better quality videos which as am told above isnt necessarily true. Will try to shoot a few cideos woth it in coming days and see what its capable of.

ARE YOU READY TO CONFESS TO CRAZIEST, DUMBEST, FUNNIEST THING YOU’VE EVER DONE IN REEFING?
