Vivarium

When we moved a little over a year ago, the house we landed in did not allow fish tanks over 10g in the lease. So my 130g reef became a dart frog vivarium. I have some Dendrobates leucomelas (bumble bee) in it. I have a water fall in the back and a "stream flowing through it. The tank has a center external overflow on it and I just reversed the flow. I pump water from below up into the overflow and it goes into the tank as a waterfall. I'll try to post some pics.

I am also planning to mix some varieties and tick off the hardcore frog geeks. This is a lot of space and I am convinced that a couple of different varieties can coexist. I am adding a few mourning geckos and a few anoles to it as well.

It is a great alternative to a reef tank when you simply can not have one.

I did something similar with mine. A 'reverse' standpipe feeds the waterfall. Two drains, one a typical standpipe with screen in the back right corner and then the other a screened drain under the drainage layer.

I am in the process of integrating this viv into my apex. ATO, circulation fan and misting system, just to list a few.
