Thanks for the reply. Beautiful hammer! I have course sand as well.I've always put wall hammers in the sand, never had an issue with it. I do use fairly coarse sand.
I always keep wall hammers in the sand with low flow. Just make sure not to bury them deep in sand and damage the flesh. I once read that someone did that.I just this beautiful be wall hammer piece and was wondering if it can sit in the sandbed or does it need to be mounted on something? Would the sand irritate the bottom skeleton?
Also watch were you keep it. They tend to have long sweepers. The sweepers might extend and touch your sun coral [emoji15]I just this beautiful be wall hammer piece and was wondering if it can sit in the sandbed or does it need to be mounted on something? Very nice! I have mine just deep enough to keep it standing up. I'll be moving the sun coral in a few. I had to just throw them in when they came today cuz I had to go to work.I always keep wall hammers in the sand with low flow. Just make sure not to bury them deep in sand and damage the flesh.
