I have a love/hate relationship with my WD, I'm an intermediate reefer with enough skill and time, but WD will not cooperate with my system, I've had it for probably a year or more and it gets decent light and over 300 par full spectrum with multiple brands of lights along with t5 and led. I've shocked it by to much light to quick which I think was its issue months ago and now it's slowly coming around but even still it's a slow grower for me and it's changed colors a few times, like I said I think the light shock messed it up, even with that I don't think all those colors come until it's of colony size.
like someone else said I've seen more WD frags and small pieces in person and said "meh" lol over the beautiful doctored up sales pictures online. maybe in time, but I think the key is photography.
these are with blues on, in whites it's basically a very light white/green/yellow. The first pictures are when I first got it, up till most recent.
I'm not happy with it yet maybe one year :(
