Hi all! I want to know what are this white filaments that are coming out from my war coral, it's a new adquisition.

The part where the strings are its a part I had to drill because there was already a hole in the coral and I was afraid there was something eating from it.

I did the usual bath with revive.

Here are some pics.

Thanks in advance.

Well sure it's stress. I cut a hole in it, plus I could see some in the edges of the frag.

Thanks for the help. If there is any news I will post again.

it will heal up fine. I have to put holes into mine regularly because my war is grown inside basically a jar. It is now up to 8 pounds and I cannot get it out to clean the tank by putting my hands inside, they wont fit. I actually have to zip tie three fishing hooks together, the kind with built in leads already attached, lower the three down into the tank around the coral and hook into the coral around the midline. I can then lift it straight out. it heals within a mo

mine will put out the mesenteries around the wounds as well.
