LOL I do not think anyone can scare @helen ann away. There was some concern that we were having to much fun, but we got the we are ok having fun thumbs up so let the party begin:D:D I tried to stay away but I have to see what Mr Cutie has on his mind:D:D

Well I'm really going to miss this thread and am truely sorry if any of my postings here were offensive or contributed to @helen ann closing it down. :( Looking at the amount of post on this thread I think there will be others that will miss your thread @helen ann as well and will look forward to seeing the 56 gal. Tank thread. :) (and Mr. Cutie again :rolleyes:)

@jsker the piece I bought fixes the water input but really need to figure out the waste water into the drain fitting I'm guessing some kind of saddle unit I dunno

Hey I saw the shark bite stuff can we use that as drainage and return lines?

Yea I don't trust the way it sticks together u ever see it? Also this stuff

Anyone use it is it safe?

I've used the sharkbite stuff before but not on pvc just copper lines but it worked great on the copper lines from the water heater

Irrigation pipe, I like the TmallTech and sharkbite's for the reason the you can pull them apart. I am not quite sure if one can take apart those fittings?

Here is a link to TmallTech fittings on Amazon finding what you need would be going to the big box home improvement store and maybe the might have what you need, or a trip to the ACE hardware. Here is the Sharkbite web site and your best bet would be to find and order online and get what you would need.

My suggestion is to get a brass 3/8 tee the come off of there with a 3/8 down to a quarter in water line fitting. Then also get a 1/4 shut off valve for the water line. The reason I am suggestion the Tmalltech and sharkbites is that they are heavy duty and have a less of a chance of leaking.

I have not had any leak yet. Have you?? It all depends on the application. Water line and least expensive way to go is the TmallTech white then the black. For the return and over flow I like using the braided PVC hose, banjo fitting

And this is what u use? Ok and no I haven't I literally looked at it for an hour and a half at Home Depot trying to decide what to do but when it comes to 100 gallons of water I rather make sure it works then test it out on my tank. So I decided to make sure that pvc will hold for a fish tank then to test it out and get beat by the pipe I just bought because it leaked.
