Hello, i own the waterbox infinia 190.5 tank. And i suspected some fluctuation in my overflow box. First i thought they are because the mp40s changing the flow. But it does seem its a different issue. I decided yesterday to turn off the wave makers completely. Set the red knob the water level exactly under my emergency pipe small increments. And i made sure it was exactly under the emergency pipe.

Woke up the next day, and it was down by few inches. Im confused wheres that inconsistency coming from? My m2 pump is calibrated, and set at 50%. Is my valve broken? I am not sure anymore.

You may want to clean your valve (if it's been a while), but whenever you make a small adjustment it can take 10-15 minutes to see the net results in the overflow. I'd try making small (1/8 to 1/4 turn) adjustments, waiting 10-15 minutes between additional changes.

You could also look at your ATO setup.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
