Hey guys,

I’m running my NO at 11 and my PO at .11. My corals are thriving at these numbers but seems to me that my water is looking a little less than crystal clear in doing so. Plus I’m scraping my glass every day due to very very very mild Alge but it annoys me nonetheless. My tank is an aqua Japan 32 gal AIO almost 1.5 years old (first time in the hobby). Is there anything I can do to get that crazy clear water quality?
Parameters:
Salt- 1.025
Alk - 10
No - 11
Po - .11
Mag - 1330
Cal - 430
Lights: reefLed G2 60 (1) running 8 hrs at 85% with an addition 1 hr ramp up and 1 hr wind down.
I don’t run carbon
Thanks for any advice!

A few suggestions would be the following:
Perform smaller water changes more often.
Run carbon occasionally to help polish the water, however carbon can adsorb your natural elements in addition to dissolved organics (which can degrade water quality).
An aggressive approach would be to look into running ozone. This is not as common on smaller tanks such as yours. It also comes with its own risks. You definitely need to do your research if going this route.

Hope these suggestions are helpful.

I am jealous your tank looks amazing.
I do not know how much clearer it can get.
You can run a skimmer or maybe a bag of carbon but, as it looks now , I don't think I'd change anything.

Let’s turn off the blue and increase the white light: in that way we can evaluate water clarity.

Thank you for that and for the advice I’ll dial back to maybe 20k or 21k instead of the 23k I am at see what that does 🤙🏼

I doubt that would make any difference for evaluating water clarity.
