Just filled this little beast. I started this hobby less than two years ago with my Reefer170. Alas I adore the hobby, and the thrill of watching my mixed reef grow. Unfortunately my euphyllia garden has outgrown my tank. I have developed a taste for SPS and those stingy guys just won’t work. Eureka! Just get them a tank of their own.

Sadly, with such a tiny sump my choices are limited, and I promised that I would keep this a budget build

Awaiting for BRS to get the primes back in stock. I have lots of reward points
Using Red Sea blue bucket..mixing it now in the bare tank
Still working on a heater that will fit this sump..as my personal fav is the aqueon pro..at 12 inches, it won’t fit

30 lbs of live rock cooking in the basement.

Congratulation on the new build.

Great setup, how are you liking the external overflow compared the your 170. I imagine the tank should feel much better.

Primes seem to pop up for sale used semi-regularly on R2R if you're so inclined.

What did you end up getting for the heater?
