I upgraded to a Waterbox Peninsula Mini 25
Light i use: aqua medic qube 40
I attached a manual controller to it which i’m still trying to figure out, light schedule and recommendations on it would be very much appreciated!

now I’m standing here staring at all the possibilities like a kid in a candy store. I’d love to hear your ideas for stocking this tank corals, anemones, fish, inverts… let’s get creative!

Also not sure about the aquascape…

Parameters are:
Calcium 490
Magnesium 1350
Nitrate 0.25
Salinity 1.024
Ph 8.0
Phosphate 0.05
Ammonia 0
Alkalinity/carbonate 8

Here’s what I’ve got so far:
  • 2 clownfish (because, of course 😅)
  • 1 sexy shrimp (he thinks he runs the place)
  • CUC
  • 1 yellow coral goby
  • Corals: toadstool leather, clavularia, caulastrea
🪸 Side note: some of you might remember I posted about my toadstool leather last week. During the day the polyps do come out, but it’s got these waxy white spots and little holes spreading… can’t tell if it’s shedding, splitting. 🤔
Should i place the flow on a different spot or buy a different nozzle? Unfortunately my pulsing xenid has melted away

hit me with your best ideas:
  • What corals or nems would you add next in?
  • Any livestock that would play nice with my current crew?
  • Anyone else had a toadstool that looked like this?
Can’t wait to hear your suggestions let’s make this build fun! 🌊🐠

Getting a nem or euphyllia (hammers, frogspawn, torches) for your clowns to host in would be an awesome next step in my opinion! I have clowns that host in some Bible tip anemones I have and it’s so cool.

Your build looks great!

are nitrates really .25, or was that supposed to be 25?

if .25, you need to raise that in the 5-20 range. Even up to 50 wouldn't concern me a great deal.... but .25 is pretty much zero, and you're essentially starving corals.
