Waters Cade 1800 SPS dominated reef

Tank looks right at home there. Rockscape looks sweet too. I just ordered a ton of euphyllia myself. Definitely one of favorite coral types in a tank.

Beautiful tanks! Can't wait until all my sticks become colonies. Very nice and congrats on the new tank!
Thanks :-) Yeah, once they grow in it changes the whole look of the tank. I am in that stage now also with the new SPS build...bunch of small sticks lol.

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately I just got rid of all of my euphyllia lol......I missed SPS too much. The tank has been filled with a bunch of tiny sticks.....again :-)

The minute I responded I saw the date of the last post hahaha slapped my head but nothing against that. I generally like having tanks with solid acros or stylos even montis like my photo with euphyllias and blastos. Some of my all time favorite corals. Bought a lot yesterday (can't pass up sales) and got a decent amount of euphyllias, and some acros and a stylo. Next will be more sps. I like the sticks especially when thry pop! Prepped like crazy today for the new arrivals. 🤣🤣

My very young tank is pretty mixed right now, but going toward SPS dominant. I have a few euphyllia that I really like (movement/ color), but already growing and started stinging things. I built an island in the center for them but those arms can really stretch.

Following along to see the progress.

That they can. My favorite part with them is feeding them meaty foods and watching them push that to their mouths and close up. Pictures always help because of all the growth you cant see.

Just a quick pic of the tank as it sits now....removed substrate, added two small islands, and added the following frags:

Skinny Love
ORA Hawkins Enchinata
Strawberry Shortcake
Homewrecker
Oregon Tort
RR Pink Cadillac
Ultimate Efflo
WWC Heartbreaker
Fuchsia Takeover
BC Nero Table
Toxic Fusion
BC Citizen Toxie
Walt Disney
BC Sure Bert Shortcake
CB Golden Jawdropper
BC Happy Glamper
JF Fox Flame
BC Lemon Peel
Orange Passion
TSA Fruity Pebbles
Myagi Tort
Vivid Rainbow Delight
Garf Bonsai

Now the hard part...waiting until it fills in and not continuing to add frags lol.
