I have been using an x4 with 2 wifi strips for a while. I have gotten tired of the Nero 3s that I've been using. I purchased the wave engine le with the icecap 2k gyre kit. How do i add that to the system?

get a command bus cable and a couple of terminators. If the X4 has the power supply that connects to a command bus port you will need to remove that when connecting the WE LE. Make sure there is no power when connecting things to the command bus ports. Connect a command bus cable between the X4 and the WE LE. then connect the two terminators to the open port on each controller. This will connect the command bus between the two controllers and since the WE LE is a power giver it will power the X4. Once you have it connected up and power up. Setup the WE LE like you did the X4 unless you already did that before connecting them together. Select the WE LE and make sure the firmware is up to date before you create the collective. Once that is done select your X4 and then create a collective. You want to make sure an do that since only the controller you create the collective with will the settings be retained and become the settings of the collective. The you would add the WE LE to the collective from the left menu under devices. There is a plus sign on the devices screen you can select to add a controller to the collective.

That is stupid that's not included. Imclude one with the x4 or the wave engine bundle.
Not everyone that buys a controller is going to use them in a collective and also there are different lengths of cables so you need to get the one that you need for your setup.

Good lord! Can't they just have an instruction manual?
