What size gallons per hour wave makers should I put in my 125?
 
It comes down to what sort of coral you plan to have and dimensions the tank is.

If it were me seeing as you have the rim 125G from petco. I would at least do 2 Jecod DMP-40s. or 2 Jecod DMP-30s and mix in some 10s for any dead spots or needed flow.

But flow is tricky until I know what the aquascape looks like.
 
I usually recommend a minimum of 20x turnover, so that means 125 x 20 = 2500gph. IMO 2 powerheads are always better than one, so that means 2 x 1250 gph. Again, this is minimum IMO and a good starting point. It depends how your tank is stocked and how full it is. My tanks run at about 30x-40x turnover. Personal preference also has a lot to do with it.
