I'm looking to upgrade my wave makers in my IM nuvo 40. I've been looking at getting 2 of the IM wavelink midsized pumps not sure if that would be to much flow. My other thought was getting 1 Nero 5. Let me know what you guys think! TIA

i have a 50 cube and got an icecap 1k awhile back, i like it so far. previously i had a couple powerheads on the back wall just shooting outwards so this gave me some nice crossflow action going on

something to mention, though, is that it's definitely large and in charge in a smaller tank so the left side of my tank doesn't feel as "viewable" now

I have the IM on a few of my tanks. For the size they work well and since they are DC you can turn them up or down depending on what you need. I have a 75 gallon that has 2 in the background, an 80 gallon that has one to stir up a dead spot and a 10 gallon frag tank that the IM is the 1 and only powerhead in it.

I have tried the 1k gyre and wasn't a fan couldn't get it dialed in for my tank. Trying to decide between 1 Nero 5 or 2 IM wavelinks
I'm currently running 2 of the aqami kps pumps but they don't seem to put out enough for my tank

if you're down to spend nero 5 money, why not a MP10 or 40?
I wouldn't be opposed to a mp10 or 40, I was hoping to spend a little less but I also want something that will work best for my tank. I've also heard good things about the Nero 5. Also not sure if it would be better to have 2 smaller pumps vs just one.

I’d say 2 smaller is better than one larger so you can customize and adjust the directions better to eliminate any dead spots

That's kind of what I was thinking, does anyone know how low you can turn down the midsized wavelinks?
