Did some fragging for the first time today, shout out to @FishOfHex for these "SPS" frag plugs, they have a hole in the middle, little bit of gel super glue and they plop right in and stand up straight with no fuss.

Made frags of Pearlberry, red planet and pc rainbow.

Sad for the tank right now it seems. I will copy the post I have made across several groups.

At a loss to what's going on with my tank and figure I would ask here.
STN on almost every acro in my tank, anywhere from slow peeling at the base to full on losing skin up the acro. The issue first showed up on a large 2 year old Myagi Tort colony and over the past 2 weeks has begun to show on almost all SPS in my tank. These aren't new frags, and this is not my first go at SPS, this is however my first time dealing with anything like this. The acros are losing skin while showing great color and polyp extension.
There have been no changes to the tank, no changes in lighting/filtration. No power outages, no water changes recently, this tank has been running on cruise control for 2 years now.
Tank: 200gallons, coming up on 2 years old
Filtration: skimmer and refugium
Dosing: calcium reactor
Water changes via RODI unit and reef crystals
Salinity: 1.025 (double checked and calibrated)
Alk: 8.0
Cal: 445
MG: 1450
nitrate: 8ppm*
Phos: 0.035 ppm*
*Nitrates and phosphate were near undetectable prior to about 2 weeks ago. I DOUBT this was the issue as my tank has been running at these levels for years now. In the event that this could be the cause I began dosing brightwell neophos and nitrates, I have slowly brought them up to the levels they are at now, I noticed slightly better/darker colors, but other than that there was no change in the rate that SPS are losing skin.
I have run these tests multiple times and have an triton ICP test sent out as of yesterday.
Things I have double checked:
Every magnet/pump in the tank, checked anything that could possibly rust.
Checked for any possible pests.
Added carbon in the event it was some sort of contaminant.
My next step would be do to several large water changes. I am at a loss at this point.

I don't want to celebrate yet but I might have things under control, no new losses yet and it seems that most of the receding bases are slowing their skin loss.

I'm still waiting on triton test but I believe that my lapse of letting my RODI filters go for 7? 8? months?? I have a built in TDS meter and just never through to change the filters if the TDS was zero, however I believe my carbon block may have been exhausted and possibly chlorine or metals may have gotten in through my top off and water change water.

I did several large water changes (with new filters) and am running brightwell purit to remove any possible contaminants.

In the meantime, please direct your attention to the beautiful new addition to the tank in the pursuit of trying to keep my nitrates and phosphates up more (i'll elaborate in another post, if this issue has taught me anything it's that I need to pay more attention to my nitrates and phosphates)
