Hey all. Wondering if anyone might know what these brown balls are? They showed up out of nowhere. Food maybe??

It does look like food. Maybe either it's blowing around and collecting there, or something is stashing it away lol.

Never seen that before. Is it possible that someone else (a kid maybe) put something into the tank? I concur that it looks like dog food to me.

Looks like swollen pelleted food. Is it soft and rigid?

I haven’t taken it out. I only feed frozen and the vitalis grazing rings
yeah, the grazing rings which looks like lifesavers will swell when not eaten.
using a paper towel will determine if soft or not. One test you can do is place a ring in water and see how it looks in 24-48 hours.
You will then know
