weird grey stuff on clove polyp

Does anyone know what this strange grey stuff is on my clove polyp?

Not sure but maybe can see tube of a vermitted snail in centre sticking up ? Or is it a tube worm? I cant see other side.some say there no problem but some say they irratate corals so much that they dont open and die.just pointing it out just incase

I don't think it's a snail, it looks like a new head in all honesty. It's been growing over the past few days

When you say think its a new head,you saying a new clove polyp head? As im on about this sticking up what circled

Yeah, that's what I'm referring to, it's been growing over the past week.
