Weird growth with frogspawn

I noticed my frogspawn growth is elongated and not like a normal head. Any ideas what maybe going on?

Looks like it is splitting into 3 heads. Maybe the way it was fragged caused it to regrow in a strange direction. Does it extend in the day?

It does open up like one big polyp.

It kind of looks like the skeleton broke off and is hanging on by the flesh.

When it first started growing off to the side, I could see just balls of skeleton not attached to frag

I’d snip it off. You can attach the skeletons to new frag plugs or directly to the rockwork.
