Regarding your fish selection, you shouldn't have an issue with lionfish, puffers, and harlequin tusk. That said, the school of butterflies can be hit or miss. I notice that aggressive FOWLR fish tend to ignore peaceful butterflies for some reason, but that's not a guarantee. I don't know why that is, but I've seen it several times. Multiple lionfish is a risk. It may work, but it could grenade pretty badly.

There are some methods of introduction that can help the fish get used to each other before letting the new additions loose. Social acclimation boxes will allow you to see what fish may be the problem and let them get acquainted and mellow before release. You can also use them to cage the "bully" while the new guys get established.

Ok - I get you. Are you suggesting this because you foresee an issue with my stock list or is it just that you can never be 100% sure as all fish are individuals?

Yeah, because each fish has its own temperament and you never really know for sure who will get along. Especially when dealing with the more aggressive FOWLR type fish. i just ordered one for my future additions. (Also doing fish only)
